Anthony Roberts-Moore born in Bromborough on The Wirral Peninsula in 1940.

Reading & writing fluently at 3 years old, and dismissing Plato as “a fool” by the time he was seven!

Educated in London. He is regarded in some academic circles as an authority on the mind of the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.

As a teenager established a business within the dental trade employing almost 300 people in various trades, engineers, plumbers, builders, electricians, etc and was probably one of the first businessmen in the UK to employ people on a personal contract basis.

Retired at the age of 41 (his goal of retiring at 40 was missed due to deaths in his family) He is a widower.

Anthony has been an atheist since he was 11/12 years of age and in a letter at that age wrote:

‘Do not speak to me of gods! The natural world, the natural structure of the mind of humanity I could improve on both. I am but a human being. If gods created such imperfections that I, a human being, could eradicate with such simplicity, with such little expenditure of thought … can gods exist?’

Anthony is a member and supporter of various ethical and rational groups such as The Natural Death Society, Dignity in Dying, and many others.

He has been conducting humanist, secular ceremonies most of his adult life initially for friends and family but for the past 12 years on a regular basis throughout North UK & North Wales.
